She did it again!

Silver Ravenwolf has again started a month of cleansing rituals.  I was not a part of the month cleansing last year but from what I have heard and read, it was wonderful.  Today in my inbox I received a morning ritual which I just fell in love with!  I am always looking for simple ways to bring and keep my spirituality in my life, especially as I live amongst those that do not share my path.  This fit that bill!  So what better way then to share it with all of you!

Mabon

Blessed Mabon, my friends! 
I don't know about you but I have pumpkin on the brain!  Today will be a day of cleaning and baking in this household.  Living in a townhome sure keeps you spending most days inside due to lack of yard and privacy.  The fact that I am in hot and humid central Florida doesn't help in that area either. 
Atleast this morning was beautiful. It was a little cooler with not as harsh humidity as it has been these last few days.  It made my task of walking our dogs a little nicer and more than once I found myself stopping and whispering thanks and blessings as the wind softly played with my hair and the sun lovingly shone on my face.  It's moments like this when you can truly feel the goddess around you and within; when the world seems to slow down a little and you find yourself truly grateful for your life, the hardships that strengthened you and the good times that made your soul smile and grow.
So my wish to you this Mabon is that you have a moment like that today.  A beautiful moment where everything feels ok, no matter what your circumstance, and that you feel thankful for all that you are and all that you have.  Brightest blessings!

Scorpio Moon

Tonight and tomorrow, the moon is in Scorpio.  Moon in Scorpio is the best time to work magick involving sexual matters, power, psychic growth, secrets, and fundamental transformations. Healing rituals for ailments of the reproductive organs are also done during this period of time.

My apologies!

I have been so busy lately that I have not had much time to sit down and blog! I want to send my apologies! I have so many ideas and things that I want to share but of course, I am no where near a computer at the time and then when I do get to sit down (like now), my mind draws a blank! I think I need to start carrying around a recorder with me and just take audio notes (I can not keep up with my thoughts by writing!).

I have made so many leaps recently in my spiritual and personal life but there is so much more learning and even healing that I need to do. I know it will happen all in due time. I look forward to sharing some of my experiences with you and my journey of becoming who I am meant to be in my life and lifestyle.

1. What is your earliest memory? It honestly depends on the day. My mind is an enigma and I am amazed at some of the things I am capable of remembering when I stop and think. But the first memory that pops into my head at this present time is of my mother rocking me. I was probably 2 or 3.

2. If you had to chose would you rather live in a place of seasonal extremes (snow in winter and swimming in summer) or in a stable climate (50 to 80 degree) location? I am currently living in a stable climate and though it has it's perks.....I dream of the 4 seasons.

3. What is your favorite book? Why? This is one of those impossible questions to answer so I shall use a quote form Ever After...."I could no sooner choose a favorite star in the heavens"

4. Do you prefer Lemons or Limes? I'm not biased...lol

5. Do you believe in reincarnation? Yes I do

6. Where does your happiness come from? It comes from my family....it comes from my Mom.

7. Which is your favorite season? I love them all but Autumn is my favorite.

8. City or Country? Country but I need to live in close proximity to a city.

9. Favorite type of vehicle? My legs

10. Favorite Dinner and Dessert? LOVE pasta and what would dessert be without chocolate!

11. What is your favorite children’s movie? Another impossible question!!
